The different types of campervans and permits required

The tiny folding the imposing double axle campervan, discover all categories of “houses on wheels.”

A sedentary campervan that prefers to “ask” for a month in a comfortable campsite has different needs than a “globetrotter” who travels the roads of France and beyond! Four campervans families can meet all demands.

The rigid campervan

A tourist but as often residential, it is the most used (almost 80% of the park). Always ready to go and with excellent insulation, it bends readily to winter use since it is equipped with a heating system and double glazing. Because of its weight and its size, it imposes a relaxed driving.

The folding trailer

Very low when folded, this trailer is easy to tow and maneuver. In step, the top is set up easily through a system of hydraulic jacks.

The expandable campervan canvas

On the road, it looks like a simple luggage trailer. Once mounted, it is a great family tent that offers the advantage of providing permanent beds, a kitchen, a living room and an insulated floor “hard”. It is easy to pull even by small-displacement vehicles, parks in a garage area and requires no additional insurance or registration, the gross weight is less than 500 kg.

The low loader trailer

Its low height (less than two meters) allows it to spend the winter in any garage and be very easy to tow.
In step, the retractable roof unfolds in a few moments, releasing an inner space practically identical to that of a rigid campervan. Ditto for the interior that offers block kitchen with refrigerator, dinette, large storage lockers, permanent beds, bathroom, closets.
